Prayer

We believe that prayer is an essential part of how we grow in our faith and - alongside practical, emotional and financial support - how we care for others and how we hear from God.

Prayer in services

At many of our church services there is an opportunity to pray with someone, whether for yourself, a friend or for some other need. We have a prayer request box at the back of church and encourage people to add their requests here so that we can pray for them through the week.

Prayer at home

Our home groups regularly pray for each other and for other needs round us, as well as using prayer as a time to listen to what God might have to say to us. In addition, we have a prayer chain to communicate with each other that is updated weekly.

Prayer meetings

We also meet to pray together on the third Monday of every month in the church. The prayer meeting is held at 8pm in one of the basement rooms, accessed from Ashfield Road. You are welcome to join us at any of these meetings.
